Take a short taxi ride to the Cozumel downtown ferry pier; there you will meet your tour operator by the statue of the swallows. The adventure begins with a scenic 45 minutes ferry ride to Playa del Carmen, there, you will be boarded into an air conditioned transport to Tulum, Explore the magnificent temples rising above the Caribbean Sea. You will be guided by a bilingual expert local guide through the secrets, facts, myths and wonderful legends of the ancient Mayan civilization, getting the opportunity to admire the detailed carved figures and frescoes on the walls of prominent buildings such as “El Castillo” (The Castle), The Temple of the Descending God and The House of the Columns. After this unforgettable experience, you will return to your transportation for refreshment and a light snack while getting back to Playa del Carmen, where you will catch the ferry just in time to be back in Cozumel.
