This is your chance to visit the ancient capital of the Mayan Culture. Chichen Itza was a very important ceremonial center; it has a temple, observatory, sacred cenote and other areas that were built using mathematical calculations using their astronomical knowledge that still impressing all its visitors until today. Chichen Itza has become the most important archeological site in the area. UNESCO World Heritage Foundation has declared it as World Heritage and people from all over the planet chose it as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Admire a real and stunning Mayan building (The castle), as it's highly demanded place it's not possible to climb on it anymore. Just being there you could feel the special energy this place used to transmit to the ancient Mayan people.
This excursion includes a stop in a sinkhole, those cenotes are filled with clear and fresh water where you can take a quick swim. Then the group will be taken for a panoramic visit to a colonial city called Valladolid, which is on the way to Chichen Itza.
This excursion will also give you the opportunity to get into the Mexican gastronomy as your buffet lunch has delicious “yucatecan” dishes from the area, drinks are not included and a cultural dance show will complete the ambience. After your lunch, head off to the ruins site where you will have a one hour and a half guided tour by a professional bilingual guide. Around 5pm the excursion will be going back to Cancun to start leaving guests on their hotels around 6:30pm depending the location.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Pick up and drop off times are different and specific depending location. Pick up starts at 7:00am and drop off starts around 6:30pm.
- Depending of the amount of people, at the archeological site groups are divided considering speaking language, trying each group has it's own certified guide.
- We highly recommend the use of hat, sunglasses and biodegradable sunblock.
- Bring a light jacket, as it gets cold on the way back.
- Take a towel with you, as you may want to take a swim at the cenote.
- Wear comfortable shoes or sneakers for the archeological site. Flip-flops are not a good option for this.
- Bring your camera without tripod, as they are not allowed at the site.
- There is an extra charge for the use of video cameras in Chichen Itza.
